The Lawn Barber does sprinkler repair for Greeley, Evans, Loveland, Windsor, Eaton, LaSalle, Frederick, Firestone, Severance, Johnstown and Milliken. CO.

We are sometimes asked if sprinkler repair isn't a chore that homeowners can do for themselves to save money. Honestly, the best reply is "maybe."

Our trained techs can do the job faster and better, and save you a lot of headaches (and backaches). We can solve problems that might not be as obvious to you since you don't do this for a living.

And we know you've been working hard all week. So why would you want to spend your weekend grubbing in the dirt when you can be lounging in a lawn chair with a cold drink...or out shopping, or enjoying a good lunch? You get the picture.

How We Repair Your Broken Sprinkler Heads

First, of course, we determine whether it's the sprinkler head that's broken, rather than the nozzle, riser or pipe. We can repair or replace any of those parts, but let's talk about the sprinkler head. (Ask us about the MP Rotator Sprinkler Head. It's new and economical.)

The first job is to dig up a small area around the broken head. This is done carefully, taking as small a section as possible, and saving the cut piece of sod to replace later over the dig.

Next, we cut the existing pipe, remove the broken head, and attach a threaded T-fitting to the pipe end. A coupler is then screwed on the pipe, followed by the new sprinkler head.

After double checking that the new head is set at the height, it was previously, we glue it on with PVC pipe glue, and backfill the hole or trench, carefully compacting the dirt around the head. Of course, we make sure the pipes are dirt free before we finish the install.

And there you have it! A sprinkler system that will keep your lawn green all summer. Contact The Lawn Barber for your sprinkler repair needs...because when quality counts, we're who you call!
